Envidor®

Eradicates mites, cicadas and pear psylla eggs in deciduous, citrus and avocado orchards.‎‎‎‎Envidor is a preparation of a new chemical group (tetronic acids) with a novel mechanism of action that inhibits fatty acid synthesis in the insect body.‎‎ ‎‎The preparation eradicates the eggs and all nymph stages of spider mites (European red mite, Two-spotted spider mite, Persea mite, Oriental spider mite) as well as the Citrus rust mite.‎‎ ‎‎Additionally, the preparation affects adult females by impeding their ability to lay eggs, a phenomenon that results in their death.‎‎ ‎‎The preparation does not damage adult male mites.‎‎ ‎‎To prevent establishment of mite populations in orchards and plantations, spray the preparation when the degree of mite infestation is very low (see guidelines in the application table).‎‎ ‎‎Spirodoclofen does not show any cross resistance to other current acaricides and this makes spirodiclofen an attractive alternative for the control of harmful mites.‎‎‎‎In addition, the preparation eradicates the nymph stages of the green cicada, and thus prevents the establishment of the pest in orchards.‎‎

How to Apply

• Shake the bottle well before use!‎‎
• ‎‎Perform spraying in early morning hours, after the dew on the foliage has evaporated (if any).‎‎
• ‎‎Do not spray in extreme climate conditions or when the crop is in a stress condition or temperatures below 25 degrees Celsius.‎‎
• ‎‎Rust mite:‎‎ ‎‎Spray when infestation is lower than 2 mites on average per magnifying glass field, using x10 magnification with a 2.25 cm² field of vision.‎‎
• ‎‎Two-spotted spider mite:‎‎ ‎‎Spray when infestation is lower than 0.5 mites on average (Two-spotted spider mite and/or European red mite) per leaf.‎‎
• ‎‎Pear psylla eggs:‎‎ ‎‎Apply the preparation on the winter generation of pear psylla, and combine with an adult insecticide.‎‎
