How to Apply

  • Start preventive treatments with the first signs of infestation. ‎
  • To maintain the efficacy of the preparation and to prevent the development of resistance to Secure it is recommended to use the preparation alternately with preparations from other chemical groups.‎
  • ‎Ensure complete and uniform coverage of the landscape.‎
  • ‎Spraying intervals:‎ In potatoes, 5-7 days in accordance with the infection conditions.‎
  • ‎Spraying intervals: In onions and cucumbers, 7-10 days in accordance with the infection conditions and the degree of the infestation.‎
  • Spraying intervals: ‎In grapes, 14 days in accordance with the recommendations.‎

Mode of Action

  • Fenamidone acts by disturbing the transmission of energy in the pathogen's mitochondria.‎ ‎It inhibits mitochondrial respiration.‎ ‎Its high level of activity against zoospore liberation and direct cyst and sporangial germination ensures consistently good preventive efficacy.‎ ‎It also exhibits curative and antisporulant effects due to a partial translaminar penetration into the leaves.‎
  • ‎Mancozeb reacts with, and inactivates, the sulfhydryl groups of amino acids and enzymes within fungal cells, resulting in disruption of lipid metabolism, respiration, and production of adenosine triphosphate.‎ ‎Mancozeb has a Multi-Site Activity
